Sherie K. Griffith's drawings and
portraits have been capturing the attention of people for years. Her unique use
of pencil and the portrayal of sunlight and shadows is quite intriguing. Sherie
works on a variety of different subjects and papers. Architecture is a big
favorite, with doors, windows or a garret being the sole focus. Portraits are
exciting because every one is different and there are so many ways to capture a
likeness. Sherie knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist and
took every art class she could fit into her schedule. In 1982 she enrolled in
the Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography in
Community
